The Aoocci BM6/BM7 is designed for BMW motorcycles equipped with OEM Navigation Preparation / Cradle (navigation preparation): it fits directly into the original holder above the TFT and is controlled via Wonder Wheel (BMW Multicontroller / “Wheel”) and touchscreen. It supports Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to use compatible smartphone apps (e.g. Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps, music and calls) with a more practical and readable interface on the go. Yes! The Aoocci BM6/BM7 is specifically designed to read BMW CAN-BUS signals. You can use the original scroll wheel to scroll through menus, select apps, change music, and zoom in on maps, maintaining full control without taking your hands off.
Do you need special wiring or support?
No, it's Plug & Play . It attaches directly to the original BMW GPS preparation (Cradle) above the TFT dashboard. It draws power directly from the cradle's pins, so you don't have to connect any cables to the battery.
Will my motorcycle battery drain if I leave it plugged in?
Absolutely not. The device works "under the ignition." When you turn off the motorcycle, the BMW control unit automatically cuts off the power to the GPS mount (usually after 60 seconds), also turning off the screen.
Can I use the screen with gloves?
Absolutely. The touchscreen is capacitive and optimized for use with motorcycle gloves (equipped with a touch-sensitive tip). However, thanks to the Rotellone integration, you'll rarely need to touch the screen while riding.
