How to update:

  1. Extract the firmware file.
  2. Use PhoenixCard to write the .img file to the SD card (Select "Startup" mode).
  3. Insert the card into the C7 and turn it on.

Update Instructions

How to update:

  1. Format the TF card directly on the dash cam.
  2. Record a short video, then remove the card and insert it into your PC.
  3. Copy the update files to the root directory of the TF card.
  4. With the device OFF , insert the TF card.
  5. Turn it on. Two lights will remain solid while the update is in progress.
  6. Wait for it to finish. Your device will reboot and emit a startup sound.
  7. Important: Please delete your files or reformat your card (via App or PC) after updating.

How to connect the ACC cable correctly?

The positive (red) and negative (black) cables should be connected directly to the motorcycle's battery. The ACC cable (yellow) should be connected to a "key-operated" wire (a wire that only has power when the key is turned on, such as the taillight, license plate light, or fuse box).

How to view recorded videos on your phone?

1. Go to your device's settings menu.
2. Find the "App Download" QR code and scan it to install the App (e.g. KyCam2 or Motonavi ).
3. Connect your phone's Wi-Fi to the device's network.
4. Open the App to view, play, and download videos directly to your smartphone.

How to replace the remote control battery?

Gently remove the rubber pad on the back of the remote. You'll find some screws underneath. Unscrew to open the back cover and replace the coin cell battery (usually a CR2032).

Why doesn't the device turn on automatically?

Check if the ACC cable (yellow) is connected properly. If the ACC cable is loose or not connected to a power source, the device will not detect the ignition and will not start.
